The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand.
What does a ‘keeper‘ mean? Keeper here in this context is referring to God our Lord being a protector, our safe refuge. He keeps us from all evil and harm. Why does the word of God here mention the right side of the body and not the left? In the past most soldiers would hold their shield on the left side and their sword in the right hand. So the area that is not covered with a shield was usually the right side.
The shade/shadow is cast upon a surface as a result of a body or an object intercepting the rays from a source of light. So shade has no substance, it’s caused as a result of a physical body. How can Jesus’s shade be on my right hand unless he is standing beside me? That is the only possibility for his shade to be on me.
Just like mother Mary was overshadowed by the HolySpirit, He today lives within you and gives shade to you!
MEDITATE/KNOW/IMAGINE CONSTANTLY - Lord Jesus is my keeper and he stands beside me
