Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.
Psalm 143:10
May this verse be a prayer for us everyday because without the person of the Holy Spirit we cannot live a holy life, without the Spirit of God it is impossible to be successful in the christian way. The Holy Spirit also known as the Spirit of Jesus is the same person of God that lived in Jesus, now the same Spirit is poured into the earthen vessels that is us.
Look at the psalmist’s prayer he is saying ‘God I just want to obey all you ask of me, so teach me Lord.' This is the heart that we need to have too, a teachable/pliable heart that God can mould. Obeying the will of God only bring blessings in our lives. Look at the saints in the bible, every single one of them sought/inquired the will of God, proceeded in their commissioning and the fruit of their labour was a 100 percent.
What is the path that Holy Spirit leads us in? It is the way to righteousness, to the person of Jesus. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy so his paths will have pot holes and crooked ways where we will trip and fall but where Holy Spirit takes us is a level path
