“I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Psalms 121:1-2
If a man is looking up to the hills then it means he is standing in a valley, why else would he look up? And he must be in terror in the valley as he might be walking the valley of baca (valley of weeping); perhaps you are facing a similar valley today?
Do you think the Lord’s hand is too short to save you? Remind yourself about how much the Lord has carried you through the past. Think about the time when he carried you through the wilderness in his arms, remember in every test that he made a way, remember the impossible things he has done for you, remember the blockages that the Lord broke down for you.
Know that your help is from the Lord. Now who is this Lord that we are talking about? This is the God who made the heavens and earth but more than that He is the faithful Father! He is always there with you, his standards are beyond human expectations, he is truly faithful to our very end, he is the trustworthy Father to be always PRESENT. Now, this is the Lord God who helps you! Amen!
